It's the best of the five villages in Cinque Terre, considering the views one can get from the accommodations available close to the sea front. It is neither too big nor too small, not much to climb up and down to the sea. It has an excellent mix of terraced vegetation on one side and stacked little houses on the other side.

Charming but can be overrun with tourists during peak season. I mean overrun - difficulting getting on and off the train, difficulty enjoying the city because the streets would be too crowded. Enjoy CinqueTerre Boat Tour is a must do to see all the towns of Cinque Terre from the water at sunset is especially nice and you will get a nice history lesson about the area. Bar Planoia at the water is nice for appertif, Da Aristide in the piazza and Trattoria dal BIlly (a nice uphill walk) with stunning views were delicious - reservations is recommended.

I would like to say how fantastic the hosts were at Incamto Manarola !!!! Excellent communication and upon leaving I managed to leave my mobile phone at the station in Manarola ! We contacted the hosts and had amazing help from them in locating and having my phone sent back to the UK! I so lucky and grateful and I can’t thank them enough!!! We plan on returning in 2024 and I would not hesitate to stay here again ! A hidden gem and location is just perfect !!!! Manarola and the cinque Terre is just beautiful 🤩

Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful.
Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful. Great seafood. Note: Manarola is not for you if you have mobility issues. You will be walking straight up or straight down with and without stairs. If you are mobile, be ready for a workout, but it's absolutely worth it.

A great little town in the Cinque Terre.
A great little town in the Cinque Terre. It's really easy to get to and a great place to walk around with a lot to do. There are some amazing viewpoints and great places to walk and sit. Involves quite a lot of hills and stairs but easy to find everything.
Would say it gets busy with tour groups in the day so definitely make the most of early mornings and late evenings. Lots of places to eat in the day with snacks and drinks - not a wide choice of restaurants compared to other towns in Cinque Terre but still found plenty.
The harbour is lovely and great for a morning swim. The people are also friendly and helpful and train station is easy to get to so you can visit the other towns

It’s a beautiful and unique town, but one night is more than enough to see the town and experience Manarola. It’s overcrowded with hikers and tourist, and finding a table for lunch or dinner is almost impossible if not booked well in advance.
The room was very close to the center of town and the train station so no need to carry the luggage up and down numerous steep stairs. The room was very comfortable and modern. Fridge in the room was great. Giorgio, the owner, was so responsive and helpful. He even made restaurant reservations for us. We are so glad that we stayed in Manarola. It was our favorite of the Cinque Terre villages.
We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very welcoming and kind. We could store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room is located in the centre of Manarola, but it was quiet in the evening, so we could sleep well. The room is also very clean with all the facilities you need, even a smart tv! If we ever come back to Cinque Terre, for sure we will come back to this place.
Perfect location in the most beautiful town of Cinque Terre! Lovely balcony from which you can drink a bottle of Prosecco & eat pasta or have your morning coffee. If this property is available, I’d highly recommend booking it. The staff are also very friendly, willing to providing recommendations for Manarola, and will provide you with fresh towels and do your dishes everyday.
Strategic location - about 5 mins. walk from train station, near restaurants, shops and panoramic viewing sites in Manarola
Apartment - modern and very clean room, amazing view from the shared terrace. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits
Staff - Pietro was very helpful throughout our stay. Gave us tips on best views and restaurants in Manarola and other Cinque Terre towns
Hotels are limited in Cinque Terre and with space at a premium facilities are going to be limited. This is a group of old houses put together. It was all done very nicely and a nice breakfast drinks area in the summer.
Great location at the centre of the town and secure parking available by prior arrangement.
lovely….clean. all new. lace curtains, crochet doilies…
good heat….great water pressure! small fridge. GREAT location…stairs a bit hard but we limbered up!!!
no view from the rooms but we were out seeing CINQUE TERRE….so it didn’t matter! Silvia and “MOM” were lovely and helpful
We loved Cinque Terre; however, half way through our honeymoon we received some sad news about my mother in law passing away. The staff at Da Baranin were so helpful and kind. Our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. We would highly recommend this place to anybody.
Francesco was an amazing host and gave my friend and I suggestions on where to go/eat during our stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Very convenient location as it is close to the train station. I’d love to return if I’m ever back in Cinque Terre :)
Loved this place. Great view from the room and the check-in and instructions we were given upon check in from staff on Cinque Terre was fantastic. The room is super convenient to the main area of Manarola, and we'd definitely stay here again when we come back.
The location of this clean and comfortable hotel is great, right in front of the marina, but it is the owners that make this place superb. They truly care about each customer, are kind and thoughtful hosts. And... the breakfast is the best we have had in italy.
Very nice, modern and spacious room, at a perfect location: in probably the cutest village of Cinque Terre, at a quiet street just off the main village road. And within close distance from the station. Comfy beds and bathroom, with a wellness-like rain shower.
Beautiful place to stay, right in the port. Went for a morning swim every day after a short downhill wander to the harbour, before exploring the adorable village and Cinque Terre. Clean, simple, beautiful room, small hotel/b&b, helpful and friendly staff.
The terrace has a view that cannot be beaten in all the cinque terre. Could you find a more luxurious accommodation? Yes. Will it be nicer? No. Highly recommended both for the place and for Roberto, who's personal touch made our stay exceptional.
Amazing and communicative host, lots of information about the location and things to do. We loved everything!!!! The view from the patio cannot be beat. Manarola was our favourite of the Cinque Terre and we are so glad we stayed here.
Manarola is a great place to begin you exploration of Cinque Terre. This facility is just next to the exit of the train station. You will not have to worry about hauling luggage up and down steep stairways.
