This is a lovely little town. Be prepared if you plan to hike between towns. It's a challenge but worth it. The views are spectacular. If you're into walking some more steps down to the water in Corniglia, you will see a cute little restaurant on your left. Plan to have dinner there. It's peaceful and the atmosphere is gorgeous.

As the village is on the top of the cliffs it helps to have done some preparatory work to have stronger leg muscles and to have done some hills as the bus gets very crowded- no etiquette.
All the cafes and bars do good food Pan e vin did a fair priced Italian breakfast. The Bar below the Church had large Lattes if you need them and good choice of sharing boards.
Caffe Matteo looked after our group of 8 in the evening very well. Staff were great.
Once in the village you can navigate the narrow streets quite easily but they get very busy with day trippers. We enjoyed our trek to Manarola

While a little harder to access (steep stair climb or shuttle bus) than the other villages, the "isolation" means a little less mobbed by tourists - although still jam packed during the day. The central location means hiking the main trail can be done easily in either direction. Superb restaurants (and gelato...) on hand. Reserve and make the hike for lunch to Ittiturismo Corniglia Sp 4488 for a really special experience. And don't miss the two churches...

Smallest and quietest of the five villages.
Smallest and quietest of the five villages. But that makes it even better right? Good restaurants and places for snacks, good value accommodation, a little marina that is great for a swim and hiking options to Vernazza and Manorola.

A perfect place to explore in the middle of the Cinque Terre. It was quiet and peaceful.A small shuttle bus takes you from the centre to the train station in minutes.Plenty of places to eat and drink and if you want to cook your own food, there is a lovely shop to buy fresh fruit, veg, pasta, pesto etc! I would definitely return.

Corniglia was a small and beautiful village.
Corniglia was a small and beautiful village. Casa de Zefiro’s location and facilities made our stay there feel as though we were locals as I’d go down to shop each day - sometimes several times - and chatted with the locals. We were there the day the fishmonger came to town - Friday of course- and also the fresh pasta and cheese van - alternate Fridays. We walked one of the tracks to Vernazza and visited the other villages by boat and train and the crowds there made us so pleased to return to Corniglia.
Elsa was extremely helpful! We had a crazy amount of luggage (4persons, 6 suitcases, backpacks, bags, etc.) for our nine weeks trip all over trough Italy, she helped us carry one of them upstairs and then she let us put our bikes in her garden. She was awesome! The location was fantastic for us, the loading zone is only two minutes walking distance from the apartment and this also means that you don’t have to walk up the hill or the stairs of Corniglia carrying your luggage. We recommend this place 100%
Very nice rom/apartment with all you need to sleep, shower and make light meals. The room was rather dark but fortunately the weather was sunny so we could spend the time in the garden or right outside the room where there was furniture.
The apartment is perfect for visiting Cinque Terre, and Corniglia was the less turisted city of the 5, which we liked very much.
The owner was very kind and helpful with getting tickets to the park, train etc.
And our dog was very welcome aswell :-)
The view from the room was beautiful. The room is not generous in size, but it had all we needed and was beautifully presented. Located in Corniglia, the town is the perfect go between for our walks. Start early in Summer, as it gets hot & humid! The hotel is also located across from a great restaurant, also with beautiful views & if you get Massimiliano to make the booking for you, you get a discount off your meal! Great coffee from the little bistro at the bottom of the stairs.
Great location, in the heart of Corniglia, a cute and the smallest town of Cinque Terre. Staying here felt like an authentic Italian experience in Cinque Terre. Everything within Corniglia was very close by and it was a great home base to start my hike on the Blue Path (especially as only the path from Corniglia to Vernazza was open when I visited).
Valentina was kind and helpful, and provided recommendations for food. The room was comfortable, and the WiFi was strong.
The view from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was comfortable. The bathroom seemed like it had recently been refurbished, it was very clean and modern with a good shower. The host was very responsive and self check-in was easy. The village of Corniglia is a wonderful place to stay, friendly with plenty of places to eat and drink and soak up the relaxed atmosphere, and the apartment is in a quiet area. We wished we could have stayed longer!
It was my second visit to Corniglia, it is my favorite of the five towns in Cinque Terre, mainly because it does not have the hordes of people that the others have, and I stayed at Cecio 5 Terre once again because it's lovely! For a very affordable price, you can get a lovely room with a balcony that looks over at the town and the water. I also love that the on-site restaurant is excellent, we ate there both nights we were there.
The room is beautiful (with the best shower I’ve seen in all my trips to Italy), and the property has a rooftop deck with beautiful views of the ocean, available to guests at any time. Breakfast is a la carte, with delicious options and the amazing service owner Gianpaolo gives. I was impressed with the attention to detail and care he showed to every guest. I highly recommend this place for the best Cinque Terre stay!
The location is perfect. Corniglia is my favorite of all of the Cinque Terre. Less touristy, less crowded, absolutely gorgeous! The room was small, but not too too small, the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean! The staff were wonderful!! And the terraces/patios were great!!
I stayed for just one night in Corniglia. The Corte del Gallo offers a handy location close to Corniglia railway station, avoiding climbing the stairs with baggage or walking into Corniglia by the road.
It has a nice terraced garden and a pleasant shaded outside breakfast area.
The bunk beds were super sturdy and not squeaky - this is key to a goods night sleep. A perfect place to stop when travelling through cinque Terre. Since Corniglia is the middle, you can easily hike to the other villages either side. Friendly staff and spacious rooms! 👌🏻
The area was nice and quiet as I believe Corniglia is one of the lesser visited towns in Cinque Terre. The room has everything I needed for a 1 night stay. The staff were friendly too
The town of Corniglia was the best of the 5 in Cinque Terre. The view from our balcony was magical. The town was friendly and the food choices were excellent.
