It's the best of the five villages in Cinque Terre, considering the views one can get from the accommodations available close to the sea front. It is neither too big nor too small, not much to climb up and down to the sea. It has an excellent mix of terraced vegetation on one side and stacked little houses on the other side.

Charming but can be overrun with tourists during peak season. I mean overrun - difficulting getting on and off the train, difficulty enjoying the city because the streets would be too crowded. Enjoy CinqueTerre Boat Tour is a must do to see all the towns of Cinque Terre from the water at sunset is especially nice and you will get a nice history lesson about the area. Bar Planoia at the water is nice for appertif, Da Aristide in the piazza and Trattoria dal BIlly (a nice uphill walk) with stunning views were delicious - reservations is recommended.

I would like to say how fantastic the hosts were at Incamto Manarola !!!! Excellent communication and upon leaving I managed to leave my mobile phone at the station in Manarola ! We contacted the hosts and had amazing help from them in locating and having my phone sent back to the UK! I so lucky and grateful and I can’t thank them enough!!! We plan on returning in 2024 and I would not hesitate to stay here again ! A hidden gem and location is just perfect !!!! Manarola and the cinque Terre is just beautiful 🤩

Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful.

Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful. Great seafood. Note: Manarola is not for you if you have mobility issues. You will be walking straight up or straight down with and without stairs. If you are mobile, be ready for a workout, but it's absolutely worth it.

A great little town in the Cinque Terre.

A great little town in the Cinque Terre. It's really easy to get to and a great place to walk around with a lot to do. There are some amazing viewpoints and great places to walk and sit. Involves quite a lot of hills and stairs but easy to find everything. Would say it gets busy with tour groups in the day so definitely make the most of early mornings and late evenings. Lots of places to eat in the day with snacks and drinks - not a wide choice of restaurants compared to other towns in Cinque Terre but still found plenty. The harbour is lovely and great for a morning swim. The people are also friendly and helpful and train station is easy to get to so you can visit the other towns

It’s a beautiful and unique town, but one night is more than enough to see the town and experience Manarola. It’s overcrowded with hikers and tourist, and finding a table for lunch or dinner is almost impossible if not booked well in advance.

    - Most incredible view from the terrace. Quiet, serene & breathtaking views from the terrace and even bathroom :) - Overall, I think this is one of the best places I've ever stayed in because of that terrace view and I'd definitely recommend people choosing this apartment as their Manarola home while in the Cinque Terre area. - The staff managing the property were amazing. Super responsive and helpful in answering my questions over whatsapp :) - The apartment is modern, super spacious and recently renovated

everything. the staff was super friendly and kind. they brought us breakfast to our balcony, but there is a terrace to eat if you would not prefer to have breakfast in your room. the balcony view - it was our oasis after a long day around lots of other tourists. the room service was great. it is easy to reach the place from the train station. it took us a while to choose a place to stay in cinque terre but I am happy with my decision, Manarola ir the most beautiful town of all, and Da Baranin is just great.

Ca' D'Andrean is a beautiful hotel in an exquisite location with warm, welcoming hosts. Our room was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, and a wonderful bathroom with rainfall shower. Our check-in with Arianna was so warm and informative and our meeting Simon the next morning for breakfast of home baked pastries, cappuccino, and juice was filled with conversation about the history of Manarola and the local area.

We loved the breakfasts! Super nice spread, plus eggs or pancakes made to order. The room was nice, with a spartan/zen aesthetic. Great shower. Hotel is very conveniently located downhill of the train station. The staff was super helpful. Restaurant next to the hotel was the best we ate at in the Cinque Terra. Manarola is a fabulous town. We felt like it was the best of the 5 cinque terre villages for staying.

Location location location. Manarola is probably the best choice if looking for great views and pictures in Cinque Terre. But arriving with luggage on a hot summer day or coming back late in the evening, the last thing you want is climbing endless streets to find your hotel. Ca de Gianchi - Verdeblù is just across the entrance of the tunnel to the train station (less than 1 minute walking distance).

Beautiful sea views and on Manarola itself from the room. The room itself was very clean, it had a comfortable bed, great shower, it was airconditioned and last not but not least, it was located at one of the best parts of Manarola! The service from and the communication with both the owner and the hostess was excellent. If you want to visit Cinque Terre book a room at Arpaiu

The location was superb and Andrea was a hero helping us with heavy cases as we had been travelling before arriving in Italy. The apartment was comfortable though kitchen/bathroom/living areas adequate but basic. Two main bedrooms were large and comfortable with king beds...third bedroom was very small and more suitable for a child than an adult

This was easily one of our favourite places we’ve stayed on our trip through Italy. Amazing view and location, the owner is very friendly, gave us the best restaurant recommendations and even carried my suitcase up the stairs. Very clean and surprisingly quiet with the restaurant below.

The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve had in Italy so far - first time sleeping a full eight hours. The terrace overlooks the street so in the morning you can have some tea and watch the owners opening shops while your husband sleeps.
